Where does the money go?

Only 13% of our campaign is spent on overhead.

87% of donor dollars are invested directly into the community through Federation initiatives, including:

Our Jewish Care Program:

· Providing social services to senior citizens, including home visits, holiday gift baskets, resource and referral services, and more

· Administering New Mexico’s only Holocaust survivor care program

· Providing rent and utility assistance for low-income families

· Administering support groups for caregivers, the aggrieved, and others in need

Annual financial assistance to over 30 deserving organizations throughout New Mexico and in Israel, including:

· Congregation Beit Tikva

· Congregation B’nai Israel

· Congregation Nahalat Shalom

· Temple Beth Shalom

· Creativity for Peace

· Hadassah

· Holocaust and Intolerance Museum of New Mexico

· JCC of Greater Albuquerque’s youth and cultural programs

· Jewish Genealogical Society of New Mexico

· Keshet Center for the Arts

Administration of community-building programs, media, and communication initiatives, including:

· Hillel at the University of New Mexico

· PJ Library and PJ Our Way

· Certifying Sephardic heritage

· ABQ Tribe, Young Adult Division

· The Harold Grinspoon Foundation’s Life and Legacy Program (in partnership with the Jewish Community Foundation of New Mexico)

· The New Mexico Jewish Link, New Mexico’s quarterly Jewish newspaper

· Chai Desert Radio Podcast: The Voice of the Jewish Federation of New Mexico

· The Jewish Federation of New Mexico’s 70th Anniversary Education Series

· Providing a financial and spiritual lifeline to rural and isolated Jewish communities

Federation also fosters collaborative partnerships with organizations and institutions in New Mexico and beyond, providing scholarships for high school and college students, Israel Experience Grants, and so much more.
