David Felberg and Friends Perform at the JCC in February

On Saturday evening, February 10 at 7:30 pm, the 2017-18 Performing Arts Series will continue with the UP String Quartet which will perform works by Jewish composers at the Jewish Community Center, 5520 Wyoming Boulevard NE.  The musicians will be David Felberg and Carla Kountoupes on violin, Shanti Randall on viola, and Dana Winograd on cello.

David Felberg, an accomplished and acclaimed violinist is the director and co-founder of Chatter Sunday, and the associate concertmaster of the NM Philharmonic.

The program will include Ayhem by Bryce Dessner, Tenebrae by Oswald Golijov, Kol Nidre by John Zorn and Lullaby by George Gershwin.  Following an intermission, the musicians will perform Quartet in A Minor Op. 13 by Felix Mendelssohn.

Advanced reservations are encouraged. Tickets are $20 for JCC members, students and seniors, $25 for general admission.
